The Informatizations Department was established under the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 372 of 15 August, 2005 "On Foundation of Informatizations Department of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization and on Making Alterations and Amendments to Certain Decrees of the President of the Republic of Belarus" (The National Register of Legal Acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2005, No. 128, 1/66697). The Informatizations Department of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization is a structural element of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization which implements specific (executive, control, regulative, etc) functions in the area of informatization, directed or required to be done by Minsvyazi.
