Hello, How to share a DSL connection between a pc and a Macintosh laptop?

I have a PowerMac G4 tower attached to a DSL modem. A friend living below has a Dell Laptop with a wireless card installed.

Connect the router to a hub with a straight-through cable, and then plug in other two straight-through cables to the pc and to the mac. Make sure the router is pinging both PC and MAC.
