You have to install a goood antivirus.
the best antivirus is symantec antivirus.

1.Just try to avoid opening your Usb flash drive
by double clicking.
2.Use a good anti virus.
3.And be sure that it would be updated.
4.Avoid running malicious software's.

thats not a good answer from sagitraz.

Flash viruses are autorun viruses.
so first step is to stop the usb autorun servise.
and then follow this step told by sagitraz.

Bcoz it is the antivirus that support IPS technology.
Cisco CCNP STUDENTS KNOWS IT.

Install a good Anti virus, Firewall software. I
recommend to go for NOD32 Smart Security.
