you can also click START menu and then printers and faxes. It will appear. Then add a printer link. The add printer wizard opens. Now click next. The local or network printer screen appears. Click a network printer or the A printer connected to another computer. Then click next option. Now Specify a computer appears. Then click the Browse for a printer option. Then click NEXT. After that click an option to add a printer. Then click NEXT. Then click YES. Then click FINISH.

You will need to have a home network installed. We will have to assume that you know how to setup a home network and know how to connect the two computers to the same network. Setup one printer with a machine first and make sure you can print. Assuming you are using Windows (98, Me, 2K, XP, Vista), go to Printers and right click on the printer you just setup. Go to Properties and then go to the Sharing tab. Check the box saying to share printer. Go to the other machine without the printer and then go to Networks. Find the other machine with the printer. Under the Printers directory, you should be able to find the printer you are sharing. Double-click on it. That should install the printer driver to the machine so that you can use it from there.
