Class D ip address ranges from 224-239 is a multicast range use for multicasting in which multiple devices is a receiver and one source e.g. internet radio.

Class D IP Address range is from 224.0.0.0-239.255.255.255 and is used for multicasting.This range of IP is not for commercial or public use.
