Feature Group B is a trunk-side switch connection that is accomplished via an access tandem.FGB provides subscribers with a telephone number that can be used nationwide and that follows the North American numbering system.
FGB uses two dial tone operation for originating calls.FGB also provides following services:
1.)A universal number for gaining access to services.
2.)Verification of subscribers credit card.

And it is associated with 950-XXXX calling; instead of a local telephone number the user enters 950 and 4 additional digits; depending on the service provided this may be followed by a calling card number and the long-distance number
