Hi, I'm a CDMA BSC Engineer.As regarding your question, the following is what i think is the answer:

Access channel is a part of the reverse link , ie used by the Mobile to initiate communicate with the BTS. The access channel is also used to respond to paging channel messages.

Each Access channel is associated with only one paging channel.
