Its basically SIP endpoints are called user agents (UA) and can be various devices, including IP phones, cell phones, PDAs, Cisco routers, or computers running a SIP-based application. UAs can act as either clients or servers. The user agent client (UAC) is the device that is initiating a call, and the user agent server (UAS) is the device that is receiving the call.

Identifies the User Agent phone. It can be in the form of a name, office, mailing address, or phone number. Enumerated Address - If each digit in the phone number is separated by a period, the URI can be managed by DNS servers. Each digit (or group of digits) can be another DNS server on a location tree.
