Call Dragging is a situation in which the interconnect call,or cellular call is,carried beyond the coverage area of cell site, which causes call degradation to occur. An example of call dragging would be when a subscriber is on cell A and its coverage area,or design, is meant to cover from LOC A to LOC B but the subscriber does'nt handoff at,say,LOC C.
Call Dragging is normally a result of an incorrect paramenter setting or neighbor list problems and can be easily corrected in most cases.
