Explain me the difference between switch and Hub? I’m in need of it.

I'm not too sure on what the difference between a hub/switch/router is. I think the hub just sends packets to everything on its ports,

Hub: A passive device, Can't support full duplex, can't support 100 Mbps Mode, Can't store port wise MAC Addresses.

Switch: A Active devise, it can support 10 base_T full/half and also 100 base_T full/half, and in higher end it will support even 1000 Base_T full/half, Can store port wise MAC Addresses. (Switch comes in Physical Layer.)
