The higher the frequency of radio signal,the greater the free space loss.
Free space loss increases with distance

AGREED WITH THE ABOVE ANSWER also to add, Free space loss increases with distance i.e., double the distance the signal strength is reduced by 6dB.

Free space loss describes the attenuation of radio signal over a given distance,or the path length of the signal.
The higher the frequency of radio signal,the greater the free space loss.
