In general basically a Public Safety Answering Point where 9-1-1 calls are received and/or dispatched.
PSAP receives a 9-1-1 call with Automatic Number Identification (ANI) and requests ALI information.The ALI Host receives the request from the PSAP and determines that this ANI is a pseudo ANI (pANI) possibly an Emergency Service Routing Key (ESRK) or Emergency Service Routing Digits corresponding to a wireless provider.
